Having lived in Cairns for the last 20 years I truly consider myself a local. I really couldn't imagine living anywhere else in the world but here. I love the lifestyle that Cairns has to offer; the beaches, the rainforest and of course the magnificent world heritage Great Barrier Reef that surrounds us. We really do live in one of the most spectacular places in the world.
Previous to real estate, I worked in managerial positions and sales in a variety of roles. I gained indispensable experience from my 7 year career as General Manager of a very successful, high demand business where I was managing a large team of staff members. In that role my experiences taught me to understand the needs of my clients, how to improve their experience as a customer and also the most efficient ways to produce a successful result quickly.
I grew up in an environment which encouraged my interests in real estate and property development. My parents were both in the building industry; my father was a local builder and my mother is still working locally as an interior designer. Watching my parents in their chosen careers assisted me with my decision to pursue a career in real estate. I purchased my first property when I was 20 years old and since then I have bought and sold quite a collection of various properties. I thoroughly enjoy keeping a close eye on our local market and researching the varying degrees that we experience over time.
I understand the wants and demands of both sellers and buyers and what they expect from an agent. I also understand our local market, our community and the people that make it what it is. To me, it is important to build strong relationships with clients, where my honesty and integrity as an agent is never doubted. Maintaining a strong bond in a business relationship ensures that the job will be done; and done properly.
